I couldn’t blame our son 1 bit for wanting to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Being the oldest brother of 3 younger sisters makes that tough.
Our lake house is so loud with those ladies screeching, screaming or hollering across the lake house to communicate. The people I was with and I have a nice arena with quality heating and air. But it’s sort of a tight lake house with all many of us sharing the heating and cooling. And the ladies are at an age where they are into each other about anything and everything. The control unit setting is consistently a great reason for those 3 to go at it. Meanwhile, our son is the studious style who’ll be going to university in another year. So he’s super severe right now with trying to get into the university he wants and land some scholarship money. So the two of us he came to me with a plan to transport his room to the attic, I was for sure listening. This is not a kid who asks for something without thinking it through. The attic itself was basically finished off with a plywood floor and sheetrock walls. But there was no heating and cooling in there at all. So he even figured out an estimate of what it would cost to have a ductless heat pump installed. That’s some kid. So yea, it was easy to help him find some peace and quiet to get his university labor done. And the Heating and A/C professionals made quick labor of installing that ductless heat pump. Wow, it’s everything I could have asked for in such a compact residential Heating and A/C unit.
