The storm didn’t mangle the window AC unit

Last weekend I finally had time at house alone to rest as well as salvage from a crazy week.

My plans were to run some errands in the afternoon as well as then stay indoors until Sunday afternoon.

This was the best way for me to sleep as well as watch some shows I had been intending to catch up on. Part of the errands that I had to run were in another town so I left early Sunday afternoon. My hope was to be back before the storm hit. There had been warnings all week that a storm was due that weekend. I drove to the town as well as went into an office building to get some documents. But, when I got back to our car, it wouldn’t start. This was odd so I tried to find a mechanic in the section to help me out. He came as well as helped me bring the vehicle to his shop where he maintained it for several hours. By the time he was finished, there was no point driving house because of the storm so I found a locale to spend the evening. My only worry with the storm was the fact that I left our AC component running. Summer was sizzling as well as humid so the AC component was always working to keep our house comfortable. However, the rule was to turn off the AC component during a storm to protect it. I tried turning off the component remotely, but our smart thermostat app wasn’t working. My hope was everything would be okay the next afternoon when I got home. The first thing I did when I pulled up at our home was inspect the component as well as noted that it was working.
