I love talking to people about the many sites I’ve lived. It’s consistently amusing to see their initial reactions and the judgments they’ve formed. Turns out, everyone has an opinion, even if they haven’t visited the place before. This is something I keep trying to tell my neighbor right now, as he convinces himself that he wants to transfer to the deep south, then he’s in love with the program of warm weather every day and being able to bask in the sunlight on a respected basis. And, look, I get it. I understand that it sounds honestly appealing to have warm, humid air all around you when you’ve grown up in the freezing and dry north of the country. However, the reality is that the warm weather brings just as multiple challenges as the freezing weather does. This is especially true when it comes to your indoor air quality control, heating, and cooling system. If you have central Heating and Air Conditioning, then you’re going to be paying a hefty price to be alive in this tepid and humid weather conditions. But, instead of worrying about your high powered heater, you’ll be stressing about your central a/c unit. Your energy bills and respected Heating and Air Conditioning routine service fees will be just as high as residing through the most serious winter… Only, you’ll be dripping with sweat through your shirt physically and figuratively when those electrical bills come in the south, but so take your pick, do you want to rely too heavily on indoor heating or high powered cooling? Either way, you’re getting more than you’re signing up for.
