When I was driving cabin from going to see my parents, I saw an ancient mansion that had a for sale sign on it.
The mansion was built in the 1770s and entirely survived the Civil War.
I wanted to buy the house. When I called the real estate agent who was selling the house, they provided me a price. I said the cabin wasn’t worth that amount, and he agreed. The owners wanted $1.00 for the house, and that was the cost of the property. When I looked at the house, it was in complete disrepair. It looked love it was a frat house. I could imagine the history behind the house, and I was suddenly thinking about the historical society. I wanted to restore it to its original splendor. I would add current necessities love indoor plumbing and a bathroom for every study room. I wanted to put in current electricity and ancient gas lanterns with electric bulbs. It had to look original, but function modernly. Heating and air conditioner were a must, and I wanted an integrated system. Every function of the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system was to be laptopized and integrated. This was going to be my baby and one of the most popular hotels in our area. Between the history of the property and the modernizations of heat, AC, and air purification, I would be a hit. I purchased the cabin and property, then called a contract. The building company provided me an astronomical quote of costs and told me to contact the Heating, Ventilation and A/C company. It’s going to totally split the bank and it will take a year, but I’ll be in the hotel business.
