You don’t even realize how much it costs, exactly, to live under these conditions. For example, I doubt most people spend money that much attention to how much they spend money for heating, cooling, and air quality control each day. You sort of forget that your central heating, cooling, and ventilation program even exists most of the time, until the Heating and Air Conditioning units start cutting down or requiring professional services. In the interim in between, when you’re operating a programmed heating and cooling program each day without paying any attention to it, that’s when you’re honestly ignorant to the costs of being a human. You simply turn a dial every day, without noticing the impact that the cranked-up heating and cooling program is making on the environment and your bank account. Otherwise, I know both of us all choose to be blissfully ignorant when it comes to our indoor lifestyles and how both of us abuse the weather conditions with overpriced indoor air quality control devices.
