My landlord uses the air filter to see if people are smoking

The smoke from the cigarette stains the air filter in the Heating plus A/C unit, plus it causes it to turn red, and every more than five weeks, the landlord walks through the condo to change the air filter on the Heating plus A/C units as section of standard maintenance

My landlord uses the air filter to see if people are smoking. I assume that this is a genius way to filter out the people who are smoking in an apartment. I live in an apartment, plus I assume that the landlord is awesome. This home complex used to be known as a bad area, but once this modern business came in, they changed everything. They repaired all of the apartments plus began enforcing rules to ensure that nobody was smoking or doing anything like that. You can still tell that people in the past smoked because a cigarette smell can come from the vent when you are using the central cooling system or the oil furnace. However, I have smelled a lot worse smells from Heating plus A/C units, plus you can tell that it has been a while. In other apartments, I figured that it would be difficult to make sure that nobody is smoking, but the landlord told me that he uses the Heating plus A/C units to catch smokers. Apparently, when you smoke, it rises through the air filter when people turn on their Heating plus A/C units. The smoke from the cigarette stains the air filter in the Heating plus A/C unit, plus it causes it to turn red, and every more than five weeks, the landlord walks through the condo to change the air filter on the Heating plus A/C units as section of standard maintenance. However, if he discovers that the air filter is red, he instantly kicks out the resident for smoking. Although an air filter is a pretty easy thing, it is a good way to catch smokers when they are using their Heating plus A/C units. I would have never thought of that idea.
