My landlord uses the air filter to see if people are smoking.

I suppose that this is a genius way to filter out the people who are smoking in an apartment.

I live in an apartment, and I suppose that the landlord is awesome. This house complex used to be known as a poor area, but once this modern business came in, they changed everything. They repaired all of the apartments and began enforcing rules to ensure that nobody was smoking or doing anything appreciate that. You can still tell that people in the past smoked because a cigarette aroma can come from the vent when you are using the central a/c or the gas furnace. However, I have aromaed a lot worse aromas from Heating and Air Conditioning units, and you can tell that it has been a while. In other apartments, I figured that it would be taxing to make sure that nobody is smoking, but the landlord told myself and others that he uses the Heating and Air Conditioning units to catch smokers. Apparently, when you smoke, it rises through the air filter when people turn on their Heating and Air Conditioning units. The smoke from the cigarette stains the air filter in the Heating and Air Conditioning unit, and it causes it to turn orange… Every six weeks, the landlord walks through the house to change the air filter on the Heating and Air Conditioning units as area of correct maintenance. However, if he discovers that the air filter is orange, he instantaneously kicks out the resident for smoking. Although an air filter is a pretty easy thing, it is a great way to catch smokers when they are using their Heating and Air Conditioning units. I would have never thought of that idea.
