I ran the red, however it wasn't red

My boss asked me to talk with him in the office for a couple of minutes on Monday when I got to work.

My boss had a frown on his face and I knew I was going to get into trouble for some.

I thought a client had complained about my toil or my attitude. That happens from time to time when you toil in a client related field. As a heating and air conditioning system repair supplier, I deal with people everyday. I often have to provide them awful news that they are not ready to hear. Some clients accuse me of lying, cheating, and stealing. Some clients call the boss and complain. I did not expect my boss to have a citation from the town in his hand. He told me that I ran a red light when I was driving 1 of the heating and air conditioning system repair vehicles. I didn’t assume it was possible, although he showed me the photo ticket. I remembered being on that street and at that intersection. I truthfully thought the light was red. I told my boss that I would be willing to argument the ticket in court, because I did not know that the light was red. He wanted me to spend money the ticket and he didn’t want me to start any trouble that would involve the heating and air conditioning system business. I wasn’t going to spend money a $171 wonderful if I didn’t really run a red light, so I decided to argument the traffic violation in a court of law. When the judge looked at the video from the scene, he agreed that the light was red as well.
