My Dad called me today to tell me that she needs our help to get everything ready for the Wintertide over at her house, ever since our dad passed away a few years ago she has been calling me up to tell me about the things that she needs to have done at her house.
I truly don’t mind, but once in a while I wish that she would stop procrastinating about it so much.
It seems prefer she typically waits until the particularly last hour to get things done in addition to that never truly works well with our schedule. Now, the weather is already cooling off in addition to she absolutely should have had all this stuff done already; We are going to have to bring in all of the patio furniture because when the temperature gets colder outside it truly causes dry rot in addition to ruins it if you don’t have it covered up or brought inside. The other thing that the people I was with and I have to do is check out her electric oil furnace down in the basement… Usually the oil furnace is OK in addition to the people I was with and I don’t have to do particularly much to it except change out the air filters. But I would truly truly prefer to get it maintained before the chilly weather hits. I suppose I might end up calling an Heating in addition to A/C dealer to have them come in addition to do a complete service check on it. I absolutely don’t want our Dad to be left without heating in the coldest area of the winter, in addition to I truly don’t know all that much about oil heating systems myself.
