The current employee doesn't seem genuinely smart

I hate to say disparaging plus mean things about another employee, but the current guy doesn’t seem genuinely smart.

  • My boss had myself and others working with the guy the entire week plus I had to do most of the work.

The current guy had to be instructed on every single area of the job. It was more labor to have a person by my side, when it should have made my week a whole lot easier, on Wednesday, we were working on a easy repair. Both of us had to replace a hose. It was a routine job plus the hose was in a locale that was easy to reach. Still, the current guy had complications the whole time he was replacing the hose. I had to take over plus finish. On Wednesday, the guy was an second late for work. He had to meet myself and others at an installation job in his own vehicle. He took forever to reach the endpoint plus he did not supply much help while in the installation. He followed all of my directions, but he did not seem capable on his own. Monday was relatively easy plus the guy skated by without any complications. Monday the two of us were working on a commercial boiler repair. The guy burned his arm because he wasn’t being careful. It seemed like his first day on the job as a heating plus repair specialist, even though his resume claimed 4 years of on-the-job experience, but either the guy isn’tgenuinely smart or he lied on his job application about his experience.
