The wall will protect my outdoor condenser

I intended to cover my condenser equipment from direct sunlight with discarded pieces of wood

This year for my birthday, I made an unexpected request that instead of purchasing me a gift, I asked my father to construct me something for my house. I’ve been a homeowner for a little over a year now, and it’s taken me some time to adjust to my new obligations and chores, because there is so much more to worry about when you actually own a property. It has been an adjustment for me; One thing that I’m now responsible for that I wasn’t before, is my Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. After doing some research, I discovered that if I wanted my Heating, Ventilation and A/C idea to run efficiently, I needed to take good care of it. This meant I needed to get it checked twice a year and clean it every now and then. After further investigation, I discovered that my condenser equipment was located at the back of my house, which received the most direct sunshine. I asked my father if he could build me a permeable wall to protect my condenser unit. I intended to cover my condenser equipment from direct sunlight with discarded pieces of wood. I was hoping that this would prolong the life of my condenser equipment plus keep the device running efficiently. My dad was more than happy to build it for me, and he thought it was an excellent way to shield my condenser equipment from the sun, and he enjoyed it so much that he decided to build one for his own house as well.
