This year, instead of purchasing me birthday gifts, I asked my father to build something for my house.
I’ve been a homeowner for a little over a year and it’s taken some time to adjust to my new responsibilities and chores, because there is so much more to take care of when you truly own a home, and that’s been an adjustment for me.
However, one thing that I’m now responsible for that I wasn’t before is my heating and air conditioning system. After doing some research, I discovered that if I wanted my Heating and A/C method to run efficiently, I needed to take superb care of it. This meant that I needed to have it maintained twice per year and wipe it every now and then. Upon learning this, I realized that my condenser component was at the back of my house, which was the side that acquired the most direct sunlight. In order to protect my condenser unit, I asked my dad if he could build me a breathable wall for it. I intended to cover my condenser component from direct sunlight with scrap pieces of wood. I hoped that by doing so, I would be able to extend the life of my condenser component while also keeping the device running efficiently. My father was more than happy to build it for me, and he thought it was a great way to protect my condenser component from the sun. He liked it so much that he decided to build one for his own apartment as well.
