Best Birthday Gift Ever

This year, instead of buying me a gift, I asked my dad if she could build something for my house for my birthday.

  • I’ve been a homeowner for a little over a year now and it’s taken some time to get used to my new responsibilities and chores.

There is so much more to take care of when you own a house. That’s been an adjustment for me. One thing that I’m now responsible for that I wasn’t before, is my Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. After doing some research, I discovered that if I wanted my Heating, Ventilation and A/C program to run efficiently, I needed to take good care of it. This meant that I needed to have it serviced twice per year and clean it every now and then. But, upon reading this, I realized that my condenser unit was at the back of my house, which was the side that received the most direct sunlight. In order to protect my condenser unit, I asked my dad if she could build me a breathable wall for it. I wanted to use scrap pieces of wood to shade my condenser unit from the direct sunlight. I was hoping that this would prolong the life of my condenser unit and keep the device running efficiently. My dad was more than ecstatic to build it for me, and he thought it was an excellent way to shield my condenser unit from the sun! He enjoyed it so much that he decided to build a single for his own condo as well.
