I enjoyed watching a movie every weekend as a way of unwinding & feeling great after a long month of toiling hard! This also allowed me to bond with my family, especially my daughter, whom I rarely see during the month because of my busy schedule… She was in university & sometimes left the household earlier than I did while in the week.
- This unique weekend, we decided to watch a movie or docu-series on air conditioning device inventions.
This was Sarah’s suggestion, & I wondered why she wanted to see such a movie. At first, it felt odd that she had chosen it, but as time went by, I understood her motivation. This was no ordinary docu-series but 1 that involved assertive girls doing things for themselves. It was a story of a group of girls who made the choice to build their retirement homes by themselves, & it was captured every step of the way. They were exploring a/cs, & the movie captured their struggles. It was honestly a breath of fresh air seeing how they consulted experts & involved the right professionals in every step of their journey. I felt as though I was easily a part of the team just by being there, just by seeing them. I got the whole idea to insulate the attic & our walls to help boost the efficiency of our AC device. I recently observed that the air conditioning component struggled to function & was starting to have a strange sound that I had heard at my sibling’s household before her component broke down. The movie explained that insulating would totally help the component to take breaks & prevent continued running.
