I’ve tried residing all over this nation and a few other spots on the planet.
My career permitted me to do that so I was able to see numerous different regions and countries as well.
All that moving around also allowed me to experience just about the entire spectrum when it comes to weather. Now, I never lived above the arctic circle so I don’t really know anything about all that. But I have come to learn a lot about different weather, temperatures and Heating and A/C. What’s sort of ironic is the fact that I ended up coming back to about an hour from where I happened to be born and raised. I am spending the end of my career in an office equipped with zone controlled Heating and A/C. It’s not all that bad. Still sort of crazy to not be out in the field any more because that’s where I flourished. However, corporate called and I answered, so here I am. It’s also ironic that the locale that I couldn’t wait to get out of has the most excellent weather of them all. When I experienced a real Winter with gas furnaces and boilers, I got some indication of just how wonderful I had it growing up. Now, I’m actually considering retirement right here where it all began. That’s wild. But I care about the fact that every one of us has such a mild frosty season that the heat pump doesn’t even kick on all that often. And being a native of this region, I actually know just how to manage the heat as well. The warm season comes with plenty of Heating and A/C cooling. But the other 8 months are basically heaven on earth.
