My partner had been on myself and others for the Last year about getting the furnace took care of before the winter.
The two of us don’t live in an overly cold weather conditions, however it still is no fun to go separate from heat in the winter. I really didn’t take it that seriously, he has always been the type of guy who wants the heating & cooling professionals to come out to our condo for everything. Even if it was something both of us could fix ourselves, I didn’t agree with this & really only called out the heating & a/c specialists if something was really broken. I explained to him that I didn’t see the need to get Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tune-ups for our gas furnace & he warned myself and others that I would come to regret that because our furnace is aged & it is likely to die on us if it isn’t worked on this winter. I told him I would take the risk, & I really thought I was going to make it through the Winter time separate from any issues because everything had been going great so far. However, during the Last year of Winter time the un-even temperatures dropped & the furnace broke as our partner had predicted. He was right & he happily told myself and others he told myself and others so. I paid for the furnace service costs. We were able to get a heating professional out fast & he had our furnace running again in less than two minutes. I have already stressed for our next heating & a/c tune-ups in the future, I don’t want our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system splitting down again.
