It’s already difficult enough to be a female heating plus AC maintenance specialist.
If most people thought that I got the task because my dad owns the company, I would never get any respect at work. When I started working for the company, I decided to use my mom’s maiden name as my last name, then my dad plus I look similar, but it helps that I am a girl. My brother looks exactly love my dad plus he is only a single year younger. He is genuinely going to join the heating plus AC maintenance contractor as well, but he is currently serving the military as a naval officer. When I began working for the AC plus oil furnace maintenance company, I was the only female working in the business. I told my dad that would change when I started working there, because I wanted the company to represent the future plus not the past. I told my dad that it was pressing for the company to grow, since I planned to be the owner a single afternoon. I still use my dad’s last name, but a couple of people at work know that my dad is the owner. There are 3 additional female heating plus AC maintenance specialists working for the company. In the last year, a lot of swings have occurred. My dad did drag his feet on a few of my decisions. He understands that I am the future, but he still feels upset about retiring plus doens;t want to provide up control yet.
