My goal for the family room is to let in more natural light. My connected residing room is quite dark as well. My husband plus I have tried adding in more lights, painting it lighter plus getting lamps. The house is still absolutely dark. My goal is to have the family room help the problem out. I am going to transport the door to a spot that gets more sunshine. Then I am going to get a glass door with blinds inside the glass when I want more privacy. I want to extend the glass above the family room sink all the way on a single wall. It will make my family room greater plus grander. I have a window installer ready to do the task. He is able to do the expansion plus add the windows without a hitch. The guy advocated that I look into window film services. He told me that adding a protective sun control window film would be a good idea. He expressed concern about my electronics plus residing room rug. He said if too much sun comes in, it could mangle them. Another issue is with my energy costs. The added sunshine could absolutely make it difficult on my AC system. The window installer told me that adding a window film isn’t all that much money plus I wouldn’t physically see a difference, just guess a single. I am going to live with normal windows for right now plus then see if I want to add the window film in later. I don’t think the sun is going to be a problem.
