Prior to starting our Heating and A/C company, I had talked to someone about how to build the business.
I met our future mentor at these meetings. I was 100% unsure what a SEO company was going to do for myself and others when I didn’t have much of a company as of yet. The gentleman at the SEO company commanded that the first thing they had to do was to grow our website. He said nice web design was substantial when you were starting a fledgling company. Since the SEO company specialized in Heating and A/C companies, he was sure he had the pitch-perfect web designer for me. I had to interrupt him and tell him I didn’t have a website. He informed myself and others that was a minor thing, and he had the man who would design our entire website and set it up with enough SEO that it would become a magnet for possible future purchasers. I still wasn’t sure I was doing the right thing, right up until the time he did something for me. He said that he was going to get the website up and running and if I wasn’t at all cheerful with his job after 1 week, I didn’t owe him a single penny. He SMSed me a copy of the contract and the promise of 1 month was clearly written in the contract. I had to e-sign the contract and sent it back. I was very much hoping the online SEO company was going to be able to do what they promised.
