When I purchased the perfect sized building for the bakery of our dreams, I was stunned at the cost, then i thought I was getting quite a deal on the building, then since I didn’t spend what I expected, I found myself flush with cash.
- I was able to buy the best oven, baking equipment, display cases, tables and chairs that I wanted.
I even spent quite a bit of money on the decor of the bakery because I had the money. Well I purchased the building in the summertime. I had the AC pumping and happily worked away. When the weather started getting colder I realized why I got the deal, but the bakery had no form of gas furnace. I only had a central AC system, and desperate, I started hunting around for a quick heating fix. The building is too large to have space gas heating systems do the job… Also, it would look bad and be a waste of electricity with these systems. It looked appreciate the only thing that could handle our building size was a boiler system. A boiler is a easily high-priced gas furnace and I just didn’t have the money, my bakery hadn’t been operational for many weeks. I started contemplating taking out a loan when I realized that there are boiler rental businesses. I suddenly got on the phone and got a temporary boiler installed in our bakery. I now pay a small rental fee to have heating. What is good is that once the weather heats up I will have them take away the boiler, however by that point I will have the money to buy our own when the next Wintertide arrives.
