I had to hire a building company to do work on our lake residence after a storm disfigured the roof. A fairly massive tree fell right through the residing room & power was out for a long period of time. During that time, it rained a pretty good amount. Our residing room was basically flooded & all of the furniture was essentially ruined. The walls needed to be updated & the flooring was completely warped… My wifey & I talked to the insurance supplier & they told us to find a fantastic building company to deal with all of the repairs. My wifey & I did not know how to find the best building company. We ended up going online & used a certain service that reviews companies & individuals. The two of us were able to find a couple of different building companies that had pretty superb reviews. My wifey & I reached out to some people to get estimates for the job. The two of us eventually settled on an older guy with 50 years of building & construction experience. That guy brought along a crew of many guys to the lake residence during the morning hours and construction commenced. Each of the employees started working on an individual job, and at dinner time, one of the guys sat down to have a drink. I truly heard the building supervisor yell & scream at the guy. He also ended up telling the guy that he would send him back home to his lake house if he caught him sitting again. The building supervisor sincerely sounded like a mean bully, even though I guess that is how he gets things accomplished. The project was totally finished on time & the residing room looked really nice when he finished. It was severely difficult to tell that a tree was sitting on our tv so many weeks earlier.
