I savor using a wood stove for Wintertide heating

My partner as well as I just moved into our current house.

The people I was with and I purchased a 25 acre ploy of land in a rural area where our closest neighbors are various miles away.

Beyond our property line is state land, so all of us can effectively hike for miles from our backyard starting point. The people I was with and I savor going on walks for hours at a time where all of us get lots of exercise as well as can talk indefinitely about work, apartment life, as well as anything else that is on our minds. Since our partner as well as I both work full time jobs, sometimes all of us don’t get the option to talk without any other distractions present simultaneously. On top of that, being out in nature during this process is sublime to say the least. I savor the sound of the birdies chirping as well as the gentle holler of the wind as it makes its way through endless columns of big trees. Even though all of us can’t take any wood from the state land, our 25 acre ploy of land has plenty of dead trees to split up for firewood. This is why all of us tend to use our wood stove for indoor heat at our house. The people I was with and I have a central oil furnace when the weather gets too cold, however usually all of us get enough warmth in our home office from the fire in the home office. It’s also good knowing that all of us can keep the apartment as warm as all of us want without spending any cash. The people I was with and I don’t split down trees that are still alive. Even with that, all of us will never run out of dead lumber. There are dead trees everywhere, sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever make headwinds while cleaning up the forest. At the same time, it’s not straight-forward splitting that much wood every week.
