I am actually really fond of nature… I was constantly rescuing creatures in need, whether big or small… This started young, when kids would catch live creatures, as well as hurt them.
I would suddenly snatch the creature as well as run away with it to help it.
Most people are on board with the system of creature rescue, until I mention actual insects. Then it’s as if it’s a train wreck in their heads. Most people either fear or don’t care for insects, as well as I don’t think why. I think an area of it is the fact that people have the misconception that all insects are out to kill them, especially spiders as well as bees. I think it is legitimately awful when I see insects killed when there is no reason, especially since they are incredibly helpful to the environment. Regardless, everyone doesn’t care. I have been trying to raise awareness for bees in particular, because they are in trouble; honeybees as well as bumblebees are absolutely endangered, as well as it doesn’t help when people kill them. However without them, the people I inhabit the Earth with and I would literally die. I don’t care as much about wasps as well as yellow jackets, despite the fact that I still don’t care for seeing people kill them as well. I try to donate to a local bee rescue as much as possible. I also try to get the word out to people that honey bee removal is actually easy, as well as it keeps the precious bees alive. They also go to honey farms which benefit people as well as the bees. I have been able to save some bees over the years, as well as that makes myself and others incredibly cheerful. I only hope I can convince more people to do the same with bees.
