I got really lucky when I found out about a large government contract.
I was talking with some friends at the bar and I found out that the government was looking for Heating and A/C corporations to work overseas.
I did not feel much about government contracts, although I was an Heating and A/C corporation with 10 years of experience and the chance sounded like a lot of fun. I got in contact with the right person and I interviewed with the guy in charge of contracts. I signed a more than one-year contract with a corporation to provide Heating and A/C services. The government contract will have myself and others working abroad for the next more than one years, although I will make a fortune while I was in those weeks away. I get paid for all of my work and I also receive monetary compensation for being away from my family. I get weekly pay for lodging, food, and sundries. I will be able to live genuinely comfortably and still send money to my family each week. As soon as I signed the contract, I gained a sign on bonus. I used the money to replace some of my Heating and A/C tools that were worn and dilapidated. I’m all set to leave in 3 mornings and I’m starting to get nervous. I never really thought about what it would be like to be away from family for more than one years. I was thinking about the lucrative contract, benefits, and the money but now everything is starting to hit myself and others all at once. I’m really going to miss teaching my son how to drive, and I will not get to see my child graduate from high university.
