When our wife & I were touring houses she had a single locale that she just loved.
The home office had ceiling to floor windows that were tinted.
You couldn’t see in but the view outside was just amazing, also the home office & home office were almost connected. There was a dinner bar that you could reach through the home office to touch. It was a really neat layout. My wife wanted the house because of those features. The outside of the house is why I nixed the locale. I knew that the laundry room & minute bathroom had been added recently. There was also a storage section that was put on the other side of the house too. Instead of attaching all those add ons to the modern HVAC equipment, every addition got their own HVAC unit, but so when I walked the property I found 3 HVAC devices. My wife didn’t guess that would be a large deal & I immediately was firm that the house wasn’t good. Taking care of 3 HVAC units would be horrendous. A HVAC repair bill would be a ton of money. Repairing a single HVAC equipment isn’tfun, but if all 3 go that would be so pricey. I also guess that whoever is lazy enough to not attach the addition to the HVAC didn’t do the additions certainly well either. I bet there were all sorts of hidden troubles with the house. The HVAC was just the first & most noticeable thing… Now that our wife & I have a house she is able to see where having 3 units would be awful.
