Always frosty when I go beach home for the holidays

After university I moved down south and never regretted it.

I love the summer time heat and that it doesn’t snow.

I love the friendly people and the beach being so close. I still have to go up north for the holidays though. It odors buying an high-priced plane ticket to kneel around in a frosty home because it is Christmas… My family is hardcore since they have lived in the north their whole lives. The winters there can get down to the downside twenties. My parents hardly can assume the frosty anymore. In the fall my mother refuses to turn on the furnace system. Since Wintertide is so long, she is trying to keep the energy bills low. She only will allow more than five months of heating. That means the gas oil furnace doesn’t turn on until November and immediately turns off in April. November 31st and May 1st are undoubtedly frosty nights in my family household. Even when the heating idea is on, it is set to a undoubtedly low temperature. I frequently complain and whine to my mother all of Christmas. I have to bundle up in blankets and sweaters in order to not freeze to death. My parents hardly notice the frosty anymore. For Easter it is always a shell game. Sporadically the north has snow on the ground and that is better for me. I get to have heating when I go home. If the sunshine is out and the northerners consider it great weather, off goes the furnace even if it is in late May that year.
