It was just the other day when I met up with some friends at one of our favorite cafes. It was a really cold day and it was kind of nasty outside as it was a mix of rain and snow. When we ate all of our food, we realized that we didn’t really want to go back outside into the brutal cold. The thing we really loved about this cafe was the fact that the heating system was great and we were sitting right under an HVAC vent with the heating blowing down on us. It was especially comfortable at our table, and so we decided we wanted to stick around and talk a little longer. This is why we decided to ask about the desserts they had at the cafe. They actually had a pretty wide selection of good desserts. I ended up getting a brownie with a scoop of ice cream. One of my friends got the peach cobbler and the other got a slice of coconut cream pie. We had the refills of our drinks coming and we sat there for a long time and took our time eating our desserts. It really is an enjoyable cafe that we went to, and I honestly could have stayed there for numerous hours just enjoying the heat coming from the HVAC vents. Eventually, we had to be on our way though, and we made sure to give our waitress a good tip. It was the least we could do for staying there at our table for so long.
