I love my air conditioner even more now that I am pregnant.

I wish that I could describe how much I love air conditioning now, but it is not something that is easy to put into words. It has been over a hundred degrees outside for the past few days, and I have not left my air conditioning the whole time. I did have to go outside to take a bag of trash out to the dumpster, but that was it. It felt like forever to get back to my blessed air conditioning even though the dumpster was only like twenty feet away from the house. I am so thankful for air conditioning. This pregnancy has been hard as it is, and I can’t imagine how hard it would be to be going through this summer without air conditioning. The last time that I was pregnant during the summer months, we lived in a house without air conditioning, and it was absolutely brutal. I am so glad that we moved to this house with central air conditioning. I simply don’t know what I would do with my central air conditioning. I would be a puddle of sweat probably. My husband has to work outside all day long in this heat, so he thinks that the house is too cold when he gets home from work. I understand that because he goes from one hundred degree weather to a house that is sixty-eight degrees, but I don’t like it any warmer than sixty-eight degrees in the house when I am pregnant.
