It is the worst of Summer right now where I live.
There just isn’t any several ways about it.
But, the only fantastic thing is that both of us are inching closer to the cooler weather all the time. However right now, it is hot as well as the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C is cranking. It’s the only way to get through this genre of heat as well as humidity. But, as the economy has contracted, both of us are feeling the financial sting. Fortunately for me, I still have a task as well as am able to work from the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C comfort as well as security of our home. This isn’t the case for everyone so, I have to be thankful. Yet, I am doing something weird this Summer in order to lower our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C energy bills. Normally, I have always just bit the bullet when it came to the big summertime utility bills. This Summer I changed it up a bit. First, I backed off the amount of time the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C is running. All it took was for me to figure our how to program the control component which wasn’t all that hard. Now, the temperature in the condo rises as the heat outside rises. However, toward night, the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C setting drops as well as starts cooling the condo to a temperature that is comfortable. I also started pulling all the drapes during the afternoon. I have been amazed at the difference this makes without the direct sunshine heating. All in all, I have seen around a 15 percent weekly savings with minimal effort. Maybe next year I’ll do some more things that can save us even more money.
