I really need to invest in radiant floors someday.
I am a weird person because I actually don’t like to sit on furniture as much as I like to sit on the floor. It’s kind of weird to look at, because my entire family is sitting on the couch or chairs, and here I am on the floor. The only problem is, since we have tile floors, the floor can become very cold in the winter time! I tried to ignore it for a long time since, after you sit in a certain spot long enough, it becomes warm from your body heat anyways. I always could go for a regular old furnace, but I honestly don’t think a heating unit would work as well as radiant flooring would, and it’s perfect for me since I love to sit on the floor which it warms first! I decided to look into costs of getting heated flooring, and it’s actually pretty cheap. Not only that, but it’s also really easy to install as well! I decided that when I have enough free time, to go ahead and have a heated flooring install. I already know the perfect person for the job as well, my neighbor specializes in installing stuff, and I am sure he wouldn’t mind helping me since we are good friends. Until then, I will probably just start putting blankets or towels down where I sit, that way I can still sit on the floor but it won’t be nearly as cold. I can’t wait to have my heated flooring installed!
