Paying extra sometimes is worth it

I am not someone who actually likes to pay extra for any additional things or add ons when I buy something. However, when I recently bought myself a brand new central heating and air conditioning system unit I decided that I wanted to pay an extra one hundred dollars for a lifetime warranty. For one hundred dollars more I was able to have my brand new central heating and air conditioning system protected in the event that anything went wrong with it for the rest of my life. Now, the only drawback would be if the HVAC brand went out of business in my lifetime. Then I would be ripped off and up the creek. But this is most likely something I do not have to worry about in this lifetime. This HVAC brand is one of the highest most regarded ones on the market today, and have been for decades. So i can not see this HVAC brand going under any time soon. I figure paying the extra one hundred dollars for this lifetime warranty will eventually have its benefit someday when my central heating and air conditioning system finally reaches its lifespan. Then, I will be able to get another brand new central heating and air conditioning system for half the price if its a natural death of the unit, or if it’s some kind of natural disaster that takes out my central heating and air conditioning system, then a brand new heating and cooling unit is one hundred percent free minus installation fees from the local heat and a/c company! It’s a great deal.
