I inherited quite a bit of property when I was only in our late 30’s.
Both our parents were older plus I was their only child.
They ended up dying within about 8 months of a single another. This would be a shock to the idea for anybody. But at the time, I was a modern father residing in an apartment with genuinely excruciating HVAC. While it felt odd to take over our parent’s apartment plus property, it was far better than what myself plus our young family were dealing with. My parents had built a genuinely nice plus spacious apartment on a sprawling piece of land. The HVAC was better than anything I had ever lived in before, even better than the house I grew up in. In addition to all the great HVAC plus space of the main house, there were several out buildings as well. My dad had a shop building plus our Dad had a little space for her gardening plus landscaping. Those mostly sat empty for nearly a decade. Then it dawned on me that these little buildings could be great little cabins for guests. My partner loved the idea so all of us called the HVAC people to see how all of us could heat plus cool them. The HVAC company came out plus did a thorough inspection. She concluded that these modern guest cabins would be great for ductless HVAC units. They were small enough that just a single ductless idea per structure would do the trick. That was all it took plus now all of us have a great spot for family plus friends to visit whenever they like. I’m so happy with the ductless HVAC.
