How are you doing during the weirdness of the pandemic? Here in our little town, I am doing okay and I guess I genuinely can’t complain, because I still have a job and I’m also still getting paid because I am working from home. I am grateful, too since I know that there are lots of people who have lost their jobs recently or who have been laid off as a result of the shutdowns. I guess that one thing that has cost me a lot of money is how I have the air conditioning running all day while I work from home! There is a plus side to it, though, which is the fact that I get to set the temperature control right where I want it. I get to be totally comfortable all day! At the office, the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C is so erratic and weird. It never seems to work the right way and I’m constantly cold, even during the summer. I dislike it. I have to leave an overcoat on my chair to avoid being too frosty cold from the air conditioning, plus I find that so irritating. There is also another plus side to using my own air conditioning at home. And this is simply designed to be a relief effort for those folks here who are struggling during this pandemic. I am not genuinely struggling quite as much as other folks are, but our cooling bill is definitely much higher than I am used to paying. A discount is much appreciated. Air conditioning at a discount – who could possibly argue with that?
