The air conditioner in our car is working once again.
- I am so thankful that our husband was able to repair the air conditioner in our main vehicle.
We went without air conditioner in our family car for over 2 weeks, plus it was legitimately miserable. My husband has a work truck plus every one of us were able to take that when possible, but our whole family does not fit in his work truck, so it simply wasn’t practical to use his work truck very often. I enjoy that our husband is a handyman. He can repair just about anything plus everything. He does not do a ton of mechanical work, although he was able to substitute the air conditioner line that had a leak. It was a bit more of a taxing job than what he expected it to be at the start. He actually started trying to repair the air conditioner the day that it stopped working, but it turned into a 2 month long project. The weather was legitimately warm during those 2 weeks, so not having air conditioner was no fun at all. He was able to get a new air conditioner line from a junkyard. We paid almost nothing for it. The hardest section was trying to find time to work on the air conditioner. He works a full time job, plus he has been getting quite a bit of overtime lately. I am so glad that he was finally able to repair that air conditioner. It is nice plus cool in our family car once again.
