End of Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C R 22 refrigerant poses questions

My great Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C folks let myself and others suppose years ago that our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C device used R 22 refrigerant plus that it was going away in 2020.

At the time they told me, I didn’t suppose the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C would even make it to 2020.

My Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C is now 23 years old. While it doesn’t perform the way it used to, it still is laboring plus does a good job except when temperatures get extreme. Then, it just can’t stop running in order to meet the demand. But, I have to face some tough questions about just what to do with the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C. There are still places a single can find R 22 however it is super fancy. I had the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C recharged just before the end of the year in order to give myself and others some more time to answer the looming question. Should I just get rid of the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C device now that it is effectively obsolete? That seems love an self-explanatory yes. However, it’s actually taxing for myself and others to get rid of something that still works. My wife plus I discussed it plus decided to engage an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business to help us with this decision. That was a great plan because the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business was able to put the entire scenario in perspective. Every one of us found that the cost of replacing the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system would be offset a great deal by the energy savings. But, I still wanted to keep the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C until it hit the end. So, every one of us got the replacement ordered plus it’s ready for upgrade as soon as the outdated a single either needs a recharge or gives out.
