Smart temperature controls can save you money because you can set temperatures on your temperature control from your PC and you can pre-program temperatures as well. This is helpful because you can increase/decrease the temperature based on when your family is home, instead of just keeping the air conditioning or heat at a steady temperature all day. I have a partner and two teenagers. We have a entirely stressed schedule so I program the smart temperature control to match our schedules. In the summer, our partner and I labor and our teenagers both go to camp. I set the a/c to 68 degrees in the day for when every one of us get ready between 7 and 8 am, and then I programmed it to go up to 78 when every one of us leave for the day. The temperature will drop to 68 when every one of us get house from labor and camp and eat dinner and will go to 71 degrees while every one of us sleep. The decreasing temperatures allow us to save money because every one of us are not keeping the air conditioning at a super low temperature throughout the whole day. My family has no system I have control of the smart temperature control however the good thing is they don’t even notice that the temperature swings because they guess comfortable. This is a win win for all the people and every one of us save money.
