My neighbor want underfloor heating for his dog

My neighbor’s wife passed away several years ago.

His kids never stopped by to visit either.

I would worry that he was lonely but he does have an old dog that seems to keep him happy. Besides, my family invites him over for all of the holidays, even the made-up ones. I was surprised when my neighbor told me that he decided to have heated floors put into this house. I couldn’t help but wonder how much longer he had on this Earth to enjoy them and it seems like a big hassle. I just use a forced air heater in my house and I stay plenty comfortable. Underfloor heating installation requires you to tear up your floor boards and put wires under them. It is these wires that become hot and heat your flooring, and then your entire house. I know that this method of heating can be more energy efficient than other methods but it still requires a lot of work. I don’t think I would want to have it done. You practically have to move everything out of your home so that the flooring can be ripped up and the wires installed. I was helping my neighbor move everything out of his house when he explained why he wanted underfloor heating. He said his old dog is very arthritic And he just wants a warm floor for her to lie on. He thinks that a warm floor will help her feel better, especially in the winter. I have to admit, this made me tear up a bit. He’s going through a lot of work and a lot of money just to make his dog comfortable.
