I have been staying with a buddy for the past few days because I assume on hard times plus could no longer afford our rent.
I am honestly thankful that our buddy was willing to take me in the way that she did because separate from her I don’t think what I would have done, however the people I was with and I have been friends for a while now plus I would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed… However, there is a single thing about staying with our buddy that I don’t really like plus that is the temperature she likes to get the apartment set to.
I walk around her apartment freezing freezing because she has the A/C blasting all afternoon. I assume love I should have brought a Winter sweater to keep myself warm, although I didn’t want to come off as rude because our buddy was being so generous by letting me stay with her in the first location. However, the Heating & Air Conditioning settings are becoming unlivable for me. I try every afternoon to just get over the fact that the apartment is cold, although I am always shivering! Don’t get me started on how freezing the apartment is while the people I was with and I are sleeping either. I suppose she must put the temperature control down into the fifties. I find it so hard to sleep with the A/C on love this everyday. I can’t even imagine what her energy bill must be each month! She must be paying over a single hundred dollars a month.
