My family was coming over for a family reunion; Every one of us were each in charge of something, then my Grandmother was bringing baked goods.
My mother was bringing scented candles and our father was bringing gifts for the entire family.
Even our youngsters contributed by helping set the table. I was in charge of cooking dinner in itself. I had already decided on making honey ham with a side of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. As I rushed around the family room preparing and cooking all of the meals, a thought popped in our head. I forgot about the cooling system! My Grandmother, although nice, was genuinely, genuinely finicky when it came to cooling machines. As in, if the condo is too hot, he will go out of his way to make everyone’s life irritated. She becomes downright nasy in too boiling un-even temperatures. I’ve unfortunately l gained this lesson from past experiences. I had planned to have our air conditioner component looked at before the family arrival, although I had completely forgotten! I called our partner and told him to hastily see if he can get a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional out tonight! The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier, although about to close, was merciful and came out to maintain the air conditioner plan. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech arrived and fixed it just in time for our family’s arrival; Dinner was almost ready, so our partner distracted them with talking while the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman left. I can’t recognize I almost forgot, this week could have turned out completely weird if I hadn’t remembered, now both of us can have a peaceful dinner without worry.
