It’s hard trying to keep leaves & pine needles out of HVAC condensers

Yard toil is terrible.

Whether it’s mowing the sod, raking leaves, or trimming trees & foliage, I never appreciate the time & effort it takes for landscaping labor.

Plus, whenever Springtime rolls around & segues into summer, the amount of toil I have amplifies. It marks the time of the year when my sod starts growing again & the trees start to fluff out with an abundance of leaves. I also have to check my roof & the siding of my house after the ice has melted, making sure there are no water leaks that would pose a threat during the mid to late Summer rainy season. Although this year I was spared any roof or house repairs, there was a single thing that hit myself and others with fury instead. Every year during this time, our pine trees drop their needles & pine cones which collect in our yards & roadsides. Sporadically they get cottaged into vehicle tires or bicycle spokes, but the worst area is the needles themselves. I keep having to unconnect needles from my HVAC condenser, so much so that the motor almost seized up during a normal cooling cycle the other day. It was daunting to suppose there was no way to prevent these tiny devils from entering the inner machinery of the condenser component without choking it off too much where the air flow is restricted. To my amazement, there are products available that stretch over your condenser component love a important hair net, with mesh important enough for steady airflow but dense enough to keep out leaves & pine needles. It was a game changer with my yearly yard toil & repair.
