The great wall of fog

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off & I quickly slammed our hand down on top of it to stop the sound; It was 5:00 am & I had to get up for work.

I threw our blanket off our body & was immediately hit with a chill, and the air was so damn cold.

I sighed quietly & frowned in irritation. The stupid heating system was busted again. The house I live in is old & the furnace frequently stops laboring. I decided to call our Heating & Air Conditioning provider as soon as they open to have the heating system repaired, if all goes well, I can get a single of those Heating & Air Conditioning servicemens out here as soon as possible by mid day, regardless of the cool chill I had now climbing all over our body, I had to continue anyways. I threw on some clothes & headed out to our car, the moment I stepped outside I was meant with a massive blockade of fog. It was everywhere & love a hungry blob it consumed everything in its path. I shoved our way grumpily through the land clouds & sat in our car. I started the car & it lit up! Still super cold, I switched on the car heater, then at least our car heating system wasn’t in bad shape. I put the car in drive & pulled out of our driveway & on to the road, then I took our normal route to work. The fog didn’t get any thinner, in fact it got thicker. I was driving through clouds & I began to worry because how was I going to see anything. The headlights of other cars appeared only when they were close & they were blocked out by the superb wall of fog. At last I made it to work, once I was there, I escaped into the moderate building.
