There is nothing more irritating than calling the HVAC company to come fix your furnace, four times in a month. Every time the HVAC technician arrived, he would tell me that the furnace was fixed and I shouldn’t have any more problems. A week later, I had to call the HVAC company again and once again he would spend time working on the furnace and tell me it was fixed. I was getting tired of this same old routine and I knew I had to do something to stop it. Last week, I had to call the HVAC company for the furnace and this time it was going to be the last time. When he went down to look at the furnace, I followed him. I told him I knew exactly what the furnace needed. I picked up my bat and I began beating on the pipes and anything I could get to. The HVAC tech was wide-eyed and he backed away. He kept telling me that I was going to destroy the furnace and I said exactly. When I was done, he was nowhere to be found and I felt invigorated. I called the HVAC company and I told them that I needed a new furnace and I wanted a different HVAC tech. I thought he was probably breaking the furnace so he could make more money, and the jig was up. I had a new furnace within a week and there weren’t any more troubles. I even got a new HvAC technician, but not because of the furnace. I scared the other one so badly that he quit his job.
