I really wish that my heating system was in better condition. However, when I purchased this house, I knew exactly what I was getting into. I needed a house quickly, and when I called the HVAC technician to ask him to inspect the furnace and the central air conditioner, he did an excellent job. He told me that the central air conditioner was in great condition, but he also told me that I would have to replace the furnace in a few years because of how old it was. He told me that I would probably be spending money on repairs from HVAC technicians for the next few years until I could afford a new furnace. I understood what he said, but I really needed a house, and this one was the only one in my budget. I figured that if I could purchase the house and save up money, I would be able to afford a new furnace within a few short years. However, I think that I was being a little too optimistic. After purchasing the house, I had to purchase furniture, kitchen appliances, and everything else that a house needs. If you combine that with the fact that my furnace broke down and quit working three times during the first winter, you can understand why I haven’t been able to save up a lot of money for a new furnace. The HVAC technician that came out last time told me that it was time to replace the furnace, but I don’t have enough money. If I only had a few more years, it would be no problem.
