I had been having trouble with keeping my house warm enough for almost three years. I am a big procrastinator, so I just kept putting it off. It was not a good thing I know, but I did it. My house was not freezing, so I just dressed in layers and sort of ignored it. It was usually around fifty-five degrees in the house which was much warmer than outside, so I kept telling myself that it was fine. This year, it started getting down into the forties in the house, and the furnace just could not keep up with the cold. It got to the point that I was wearing three layers of clothing and wrapped in a blanket, and I was still cold. I finally decided that it was time to get my furnace checked out. I called a local HVAC company, and they came over the next day to look at my furnace. They told me that I needed a new furnace. I was sort of bummed about it because I was hoping that I would not have to buy a new furnace, but at the same time, I sort of expected that I would have to. I found a pretty good deal on a new furnace, and I got a discount on top of the deal because my husband is in the military. I ended up getting a new furnace for a few hundred dollars less than I thought that I would have to pay. It was really nice. I am so glad that my house is now much warmer than it used to be. I keep it around sixty-eight degrees, and I finally feel like a normal human being again.
