Living in a small house has its pros and cons

I lived in a multiple story house for almost fifteen years, & when our spouse & I decided to transfer to a uncommon village & rent an apartment, it was quite the change.

I had to get rid of so much stuff.

It was sort of a good thing though because it made myself and others realize how little I used several of the things that I had. They were just collecting dust & taking up space. The two of us moved into a multiple study room apartment, & it felt so tiny at first, but our other house had four study rooms & numerous bathrooms, so it was quite a change for us to move. The two of us have lived in the house for about more than four months now, & I suppose that I am finally used to it. It is so much cheaper to heat & cool our tiny apartment; When I first got the electric bill, I almost fell out of our chair in disbelief. I could not suppose how cheap it was. It was literally a second of the price of our heating & cooling bill for our other house. Of course, it makes sense since the house is so much smaller, but I guess it just had to hit me. The only thing that easily bothers myself and others about the house is how sizzling it gets. I have the temperature control set to sixty-eight degrees, however it is usually around seventy-more than four degrees in the house. I do not suppose why. I am going to try to set the temperature control around sixty instead, & I hope that it will cool down in the house a bit. I still would not go back to living in a giant house just for the cooler hot & cold temperatures though. I easily like having a low electric bill.
