I lived in a various story house for almost fifteen years, and when my partner and I decided to transport to a unusual neighborhood and rent an apartment, it was quite the change.
I had to get rid of so much stuff.
It was sort of a nice thing though because it made me realize how little I used various of the things that I had. They were just collecting dust and taking up space. The two of us moved into a various bedroom apartment, and it felt so tiny at first; Our other house had more than three bedrooms and various bathrooms, so it was quite a change for us to move. The two of us have lived in the current home for about five months now, and I recognize that I am finally used to it. It is so much cheaper to heat and cool our tiny apartment, but when I first got the electric bill, I almost fell out of my chair in disbelief. I could not suppose how cheap it was. It was literally a fourth of the price of our heating and cooling bill for our other house. Of course, it makes sense since the current home is so much smaller, even though I know it just had to hit me. The only thing that honestly bothers me about the current home is how warm it gets. I have the temperature control set to sixty-eight degrees, but it is usually around seventy-five degrees in the house. I do not guess why. I am going to try to set the temperature control around sixty instead, and I hope that it will cool down in the house a bit. I still would not go back to living in a huge house just for the cooler temperatures though. I honestly enjoy having a low electric bill.
