Hitting the road for travel is actually the only way for us anymore. Getting on that large airplane just doesn’t seem to have the value it once did. It is just too much really. And the air conditioner is so poor. My entire family is so tied up by the time we land at our endpoint that it takes a day to decompress. Of course, we have no option however to travel by air if there is an ocean crossing involved. Taking the car on our travels is actually toiling out just grand. Our children are now pretty much out of the house so, most trips are just our fiance as well as I. Both of us have one rule when we get on the road. If the endpoint is more than a 7 hour drive, we stop for the night. Then, there is a bit of an upspoken however totally understood rule. Both of us always stay at sites that are just off the interstate. The main reason for these motel stays is mainly for the reliable HVAC. I don’t guess we have ever had a problem with the heating as well as cooling plan in these category of sites. This is much unlike the stays we have had in extravagant downtown hotels. It never fails that we end up way too hot or way too frigid when we stay in the luxurious sites. This felt completely counterintuitive to us so, we stop at the interstate motels.
