High velocity heating and cooling handles temperature control

Until a few years ago, I’d never heard of high velocity heating and cooling.

The only reason I’ve l gained about this style of temperature control is because my partner and I obtained a lake house in the historic district.

The lake house was built in the early 1720’s and features much of the original architecture. There’s mullioned windows, parquet floors, hardwood moldings and genuinely high ceilings. While the lake house is absolutely charming, both of us found it tough to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year. The two of us live in an section where the Winter time weather brings temperatures in the disadvantage digits, and the Summer season delivers intense heat and high humidity. The former owners of the lake house managed with box fans, portable s and electric baseboard heaters. These look bad and aren’t overly effective, then my partner and I wanted something less invasive and permanently installed. The two of us were looking for a whole-house heating and cooling program that both of us could incorporate without cutting down walls or ceilings. The two of us were unwilling to sacrifice the historical integrity of the lake house for the sake of temperature control. I did some research online and came across high velocity heating and cooling. This style of program is designed recognizably for retrofit into older homes. It utilizes ducts that are only more than one-inches in diameter and flexible enough to snake through walls without damage. The vents are also genuinely compact and are available in a wide array of styles to seamlessly blend into the decor. The two of us found a local Heating and Air Conditioning contractor who specializes in high velocity systems to handle the replacement. There was no giant mess or damage and we’re now able to adjust the thermostat and love perfect year round comfort.
