I had quite a surprise when I found a new heating and air conditioning company to service my central heating and cooling system. This surprise was, that the entire company was full of female HVAC specialists! Now, there’s nothing wrong with that at all…it is just something you would not expect to see every day. The person that answered the phone was a nice woman, very respectful and helpful. And, she was able to set my initial HVAC appointment up pretty quick and easy. That impressed me from the drive! It took almost a full year of using this brand new heating and air conditioning business for all my heating and cooling needs to figure out, that nearly every single HVAC specialist at this place were women! I still haven’t asked about this, because I do not want to insult anyone or at least make them think i’m being insulting by asking them if their entire company is women HVAC specialists. But, this is the general impression I have got. If it is not just coincidence that I keep getting female heating and air conditioning repair women to my home to do my HVAC tune ups and services (which they have all done very well..by the way), then this is a big leap for both respect for women on the job, and also, a big leap for the heating and air conditioning industry in general. It will be interesting to see if I get a guy HVAC specialist in the next year! Only time will tell, and i’ll be very much on the edge of seat waiting to see!
