I am so over summer. I have lived in the south my entire life and I still haven’t gotten over the summer weather. This year, the weather has been hot and rainy and it has set a new low for the amount of like I have for this area. I think the worst part of the summer isn’t the heat and humidity, but the horrible air quality that comes from the heat and humidity. There are so many pollutants in the air that my allergies are acting up. I had to go to the doctor the other day because of my allergies. He told me it probably had something to do with my air quality, which I already knew. I know there are ways to improve my air quality. I can always get better air filters for my HVAC system, and I can also have a whole home air purification system installed. I know the air filters aren’t expensive, but the air purification system can be really expensive. I called the HVAC company and I asked him if he could help out with my problem. When he arrived, he made arrangements for the professional HVAC cleaners to come in and clean the ductwork and the air ducts. He went out and cleaned the air conditioning unit while they were cleaning the ductwork. I still plan on installing air filters that will help with my pet dander, but I may need to wait for a while to have the air purification system installed. The ductwork cleaning and service call was a bit more expensive than I had imagined.
